The intermittent negative pressure treatment (-IVT-) with the VACUSPORT®-device is classified as a secure form of therapy based on the extensive experience gained in the space medicine (Neurolab, DLR, NASA) and the studies from the fields of vascular and sports medicine.

This procedure must not be applied for:
  • Acute phlebothrombosis (deep vein thrombosis of leg veins)
  • Acute Thrombophlebitis (vein inflammation)
  • Acute infections in the area of treatment
  • Pregnancy
  • Acute hernia

The product is approved as a medical product according to EC Directive 93/42/EEC Class IIa . The manufacturer company, Weyergans High Care AG is certified according to ISO / EN 13485. Notified body: CE 0535 (Eurocat, Institute for Certification & Testing, Darmstadt).
